Post-it Note Art Collage
Made using 183 Post-it Notes from around the World
Community art collage created by Adrian Wallett made from 183 Post-It Notes from around the World from many artists.
This project took me around 10 months to begin and finally complete. I used the power of the internet to gain Post-it Note artwork from across the globe from a wide variety of very talented artists.
I drummed up interest primarily through my Flickr account and sending out the followig message to artists around the globe:
"The Post-It Note Art Posse (PINAP) Needs Your Help!
Do you ever dream of a world where everyone's scribbles and doodles can be brought together to create an incredible piece of community art?
No, I didn't think so, but just give this idea a few minutes thought and its starts to make a lot of sense…. Ok, fair enough, it doesn’t make any sense at all, let alone any point. OR DOES IT?
I scribble and draw doodles everywhere and anywhere I have access to a pen and paper, and over the last few years I have been given access to Post-It Notes. If you put two and two together you will ultimately get a scribbled on Post-It Note proudly showing off my weird art!
My Post-It Note scribbles were quickly thrown away and forgotten about quicker than the ludicrous idea that Rocky 6 could be made!
BUT WAIT JUST ONE SECOND! - Rocky 6 (or should I say Rocky Balboa) was made and it was an amazing film and really bought the whole Rocky series to an amazing conclusion.
So if Rocky Balboa can be made (and made well!) why cant all our Post-It Note doodles and scribbles be bought together to create an infamous collage?
That is where you come in! I need you to post me your Post-It Note art!
Any scribbles, messages, doodles or even masterpieces are equally welcome and dearly appreciated. I will accept all art that has been sent to me on any type, colour and size of Post-It Note (including the branded kind) and will then look to put all of your kind submissions together to create a collage of the highest quality.
I will also showcase your fine Post-It Note on my Flickr page and give you personal kudos and recognition!

When my collage is complete I hope to auction it off for charity and help raise funds for a very worthwhile cause. I personally feel the NSPCC does a tremendous job and all proceeds should be donated to this fine charity. You can find out further information on: http://www.nspcc.org.uk/
